メタバース芸大RESTは、芸術・文化・哲学・文学・AIなどのリベラルアーツを、誰もが無料で学び合えるメタバース上の学びの共同体です。AIアートギャラリーRESTは、大阪・中津にあるリアルな展示・発表の場として、そこで生まれた問いや表現を社会へ届けています。
「REST」は、メタバースの学びと現実のギャラリーをつなぎ「学びが表現へ、表現が次の学びへと戻っていく」循環を育てています。
Metaverse University of the Arts REST is an online learning space where anyone can study liberal arts such as art, culture, philosophy, literature, and AI for free. AI Art Gallery REST, located in Nakatsu, Osaka, serves as a physical exhibition and presentation space, bringing the questions and expressions born from this learning to society.
REST connects the metaverse with a real-world gallery, nurturing a cycle in which learning becomes expression, and expression returns to new learning.
Learning in the Metaverse, Expression in a Real-World Gallery
2026年度は、年間を通じて誰でも参加できる「ことば」「みる」「たいわ」の3つの授業を、メタバースプラットフォーム「cluster」上で定期的に開催します。各授業は1時間程度を予定しており、参加者は「アバターを通じて学び、考え、対話する体験型・参加型の学び」を行います。
メタバース芸大RESTで生まれた問いや表現は、大阪・中津のAIアートギャラリーRESTとも連携し、リアルな展示・発表の場へとつなげていきます。授業のほか、4月の「入学式」、10月の「学園祭」、3月の「卒業式（卒業制作・発表）」などの行事も非公開で開催、1年間の学びや成果を共有する機会をつくります。
Throughout the 2026 academic year, Metaverse University of the Arts REST will regularly hold three classes, “Words,” “Seeing,” and “Dialogue,” on the metaverse platform cluster. Each class is planned to last about one hour, offering an experiential and participatory learning environment where participants learn, think, and engage in dialogue through avatars.
The questions and expressions that emerge from Metaverse University of the Arts REST will also be connected to AI Art Gallery REST in Nakatsu, Osaka, leading to real-world opportunities for exhibition and presentation. In addition to classes, REST will hold events such as the Entrance Ceremony in April, the School Festival in October, and the Graduation Ceremony, including graduation works and presentations, in March, creating opportunities to share the learning and achievements of the year.
“Classes” — Bringing Learning into Everyday Life
美術鑑賞の基礎として座学として美術史を学びつつ、参加型ワークを行ったり、メタバース内のアート空間を探索。また美術業界で話題になっていることをテーマに議論し、鑑賞力（知覚力）を身につけていきます
言葉の成り立ち、短歌や詩、音楽の歴史を学び、時間内で実際に創作、講評会を行います。そのことで美しい言葉はもちろん、客観的な批評力（ロジカルシンキング）を身につけていきます
哲学や宗教、経済を学んでいく他、今の社会で話題や問題になっていることをテーマに対話。相互理解や相手の考えや感情を想像する（エンパシー）を身につけていきます
Events: Connecting Beyond the Everyday
RESTの年間スケジュールの説明を行う他、リアル、メタバースと様々な形で既に表現活動に関わっているゲスト講師をお招きしての特別授業も行います
REST生徒を中心にイベントや展示、パフォーマンスなど自由な企画を3日間行います。また運営側の中間振り返りも公開で共有させていただきます
入学式から卒業式まで参加した生徒には、学びを実践してきた証として卒業アイテムを授与します。また、REST生徒自身による卒業制作の発表も行います。

RESTは、clusterやSNSなどを通じて出会った有志メンバーが、Discordを中心に運営しています。
授業の講師、コラボ企画者、ゲスト、運営サポートなど、関わり方はさまざまです。無理のない範囲で、それぞれの関心や得意なことを持ち寄りながら、フラットに活動をつくっています。
